Day 2 Arrive London Morning arrival, then complete leisure day. Early evening pub welcome provides a delightful London greeting of beer, cider and cheese.
Arrived London’s Heathrow Airport at 8:52 a.m. (2:52 a.m. E.S.T.) and Merry Old England was cloudy this Sunday Morning –
As we dropped down under the cloud cover the first thing we saw was Windsor Castle looking like a miniature movie set –
We were met by our T.W.A. Hostess & transported to the St. James Hotel –
We had “brunch” & took the “tube” to Victoria Station and from there boarded a bus for a 2 hour – 20 mile sight-seeing Tour –
Following this, we saw a little of Westminster Abbey
Had a good dinner at a small Italian Restaurant & after a stop at the “Cask and Glass Pub” we were ready for bed –
